Patna city will now be monitored with Artificial Intelligence. This is a system that will keep an eye on all the activities of the city like a human being. This will help a lot in the identification of suspects and other work. It will also have a big role in disaster management due to the traffic system of the city. Under the Integrated Command and Control Center project, an agreement has been signed between Patna Smart City Limited and L&T Company for this.
Under the project, CCTV cameras equipped with state-of-the-art technology will be installed at 2750 places for surveillance and security of the city. The feed received from these cameras will be de-coded through video analytics. Along with this, these cameras are also capable of identifying a particular person on the basis of gestures, However i will make it easier to identify missing people and wanted criminals. All the police stations, railway stations of Patna city will be connected with the project. In the future, the number of cameras will also be increased as per requirement.
Under the ICCC (Integrated Control Command Center) project. Arrangements for emergency call boxes and public address systems will be made at 50 places. In any emergency situation including disaster, crime, accident, common citizens can directly inform the administration through the call box. Along with this, the administration will also be able to deliver its messages to the common citizens from time to time through the public address box. Under the project, the newly constructed building in the office premises of the Senior Superintendent of Police located at Gandhi Maidan will be developed as a data center. Intensive monitoring and arrangement of the entire city will be done through this data center.
With this, digital monitoring of traffic system including number plate identification, red light violation, speed limit violation, helmetless ride. The triple ride will be done and immediate action will be taken. For the supply of CCTV cameras, traffic management system equipment, public address system, emergency call box. And also a ring of optical fiber cable network will be prepared for about 220 km in the city. So which will act as a backbone for various modes of communication.
Patna Smart City Limited has set a target to complete the Integrated Command. Control Center project within 15 months regarding security and traffic system. The agreement was signed between the two parties in the presence of Municipal Commissioner cum Managing Director of Patna Smart City Limited Himanshu Sharma and also officials of Larsen & Toubro Limited, however, so the agency was selected for the project.
