Pawan, convicted of the Nirbhaya gang rape, has been shifted to Tihar Jail in Delhi. Earlier Pawan Mandoli was lodged in jail. In 2012, four convicts of the Nirbhaya incident in the capital were sentenced to be hanged. Apart from Pawan, the other three who are guilty are already lodged in Tihar Jail.

Significantly, after the recent incident with a female doctor in Hyderabad, there has been a growing controversy over the growing atrocities against women in the country. Meanwhile, December 16 is also coming, the day the Nirbhaya incident took place. Amidst all this, there is a stir in Tihar Jail.

The four convicts of the Nirbhaya incident Vinay Sharma, Mukesh, Pawan and Akshay are currently lodged in Tihar Jail. In the crime of heinous crime, all four were sentenced to death by the lower court, which was upheld by the upper courts. Here Tihar Jail administration has contacted several districts so that if the executioner is needed in the near future, arrangements can be made from there, along with ropes have also been ordered.

In the past, the convict Vinay Sharma appealed to return the mercy petition filed in front of President Ramnath Kovind. It was argued on behalf of Vinay that he had not signed the petition. The Delhi Government, Union Home Ministry had already appealed to dismiss the mercy plea of ​​the convicts.

The next hearing of this case is to be held on 13 December in Patiala House Court. In the last hearing, the court had issued a notice to the four convicts, in which they were asked to tell whether they want to apply.
