The Dhanbad-Alleppey Express, along with Rajendra Nagar-Durg South Bihar Express and Barauni-Ernakulam RaptiSagar Express, will also be upgraded to third AC coaches by reducing sleepers. According to the information issued by the railway, this change was to be made from April 23 in Alleppey Express which opened from Dhanbad and April 26 in the train that opened from Alleppey. Meanwhile, it could not be implemented due to the trains being closed since 22 March. Now the new system can be effective once the train opens.
The commissioner's letter said, "As you know, the government has ordered that the railways will have to bear their own revenue expenditure including pension.
