China is frightened by the security partnership of the US, Australia, and Britain for the Indo-Pacific region. Tilt by its ignorance, China has said that these countries should not take decisions with the aim of harming the interests of any third party. They should shed their Cold War mentality and ideological prejudices. This statement from China has been issued by the Chinese Embassy in Washington.

Let us tell you that the partnership that Australia, America, and Britain have done is named AUKUS. Its purpose is to work on nuclear-powered submarines while maintaining peace and balance of power in the Indo-Pacific region. The formation of such an organization is considered very important after the current situation in Afghanistan. This agreement is also important for America so that America can strengthen its military capabilities in the midst of increasing tension with China.

Australia will make submarines with American technology

Under this agreement, the US will also provide technology to Australia to build nuclear-capable submarines. However, the three countries, including the US, have made it clear that the nuclear-capable submarines that Australia will build will not have nuclear weapons, but only nuclear reactors. However, France has opposed the deal, as it was negotiating a multi-billion dollar deal to sell submarines to Australia.

Issuing a joint statement on this agreement, US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson have said that the efforts we are starting will help maintain peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said that this is a partnership between Australia, the UK, and the US where our technology, our scientists, our industry, and security forces are working to create a safe zone. Morrison also said that this is a big initiative of all three countries.
