Chicken Mughlai Recipe Ingredients:
1 kg chicken
2 sliced onions
5 finely chopped garlic
4 black cardamom
2-inch cinnamon
2 tablespoons lime juice
4 pinch salt
1 cup water
¼ cup mustard oil
4 finely chopped ginger
1 ¼ cup beaten yogurt
6 cloves
½ cup cashews
1 egg
½ tsp red chili powder
For Garnish:
1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander
How to make Chicken Mughlai recipe:
Step 1:
To make this famous and delicious chicken recipe, wash and clean the chicken and cut it into 8 pieces.
Step 2:
Heat mustard oil in a pan and add onions and fry them till they turn light brown.
Step 3:
Now remove the onion from the oil and grind it with ginger, garlic, red chilli and turmeric.
Step 4:
Mix half the ground spices with curd and rub into the chicken.
Step 5:
Now put 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add all the spices and bay leaves in it. Fry it for a minute then put it on top of the chicken.
Step 6:
Heat the remaining oil and add the remaining spices. Fry it till oil comes up.
Step 7:
Add chicken and fry for 5-7 minutes till it dries.
Step 8:
Now add 1 cup of water and cook till the chicken is tender.
Step 9:
Add cashew paste to it and remove from heat.
Step 10:
After this add lime juice and egg, keep stirring it till the egg spreads throughout the gravy.
Step 11:
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it with tandoori roti, rice or paratha.
