Coronavirus infection is spreading rapidly in the country. Several thousand new cases are coming up every day. According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry, there have been 37,724 new cases of coronavirus across the country in the last 24 hours i.e. from 8 am Tuesday to 8 am Wednesday and with these new cases total coronavirus cases in the country. The figure has now increased to 11, 92,915. Most of these cases were recorded during July itself.
So far 28,472 people have lost their lives due to this deadly virus across the country. During the last 24 hours, 648 people have died in the entire country due to corona. India may have lost fewer people than Europe and America, but still the death toll has increased, which is a matter of concern.
People are recovering completely after defeating the coronavirus in the country. More than 63 percent of the total coronavirus cases in the country are those who have completely recovered. During the last 24 hours, 28,472 people have been cured by coronavirus across the country. Till now 7, 53,049 people have been cured in this country.
There is continuous testing going on in the country for the identification of corona patients in the country and India is the highest testing country after the US and Russia worldwide. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), more than 3.43 lakh corona tests have been conducted in the country on Monday and so far more than 1.47 crore tests have been conducted in the country.
Speaking of coronavirus cases globally, the total number of cases worldwide has crossed 150 million. So far, more than 6.19 lakh people have died due to coronavirus worldwide. However, more than 91.10 lakh people all over the world have been cured of the coronavirus. The highest numbers of cases of coronavirus in the world are in America, where more than 40.28 lakh cases have been reported and more than 1.44 lakh people have died. Followed by more than 21.66 lakh cases in Brazil and more than 81 thousand people have lost their lives. In Russia too, more than 7.83 lakh cases have been reported and more than 12 thousand people have lost their lives.
