Coronavirus infection continues to spread rapidly in the country and seems to be out of control. During the last 24 hours, there has been a strong rise in coronavirus cases in the country once again. According to the Union Health Ministry, a total of 48,916 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country from 8 am Friday to 8 am Saturday. With these new cases, the total coronavirus cases in the country have now increased to 12,87,945.
Due to corona infection, people are losing their lives and the number of deaths is increasing rapidly. According to the Health Ministry, during the 24 hours, 757 people have died due to coronavirus across the country and till date this virus has caused 31,358 deaths in the country in total.
With the record of new cases of corona coming to the country, it is matters of relief that now the numbers of people recovering are also increasing rapidly. During the last 24 hours 32,223 people have completely recovered from coronavirus across the country. This is the highest numbers of people who have been cured in a single day. So far, a total of 8,49,431 people across the country have completely recovered from the coronavirus. The recovery rate of coronavirus in the country has been 63.53 percent. The total active cases of Corona in the country now are 4,56,071.
There are a record-breaking tests being conducted for the identification of corona patients in the country. India is the largest testing country in the world after USA and Russia. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), more than 4.20 lakh corona tests have been conducted in the country on Friday. Till date a total of more than 1.58 crore tests have been done in the country.
Speaking of coronavirus cases globally, the total numbers of cases worldwide has crossed 159 million mark. So far, more than 6.42 lakh people have died due to coronavirus worldwide. However, more than 97.24 lakh people all over the world have been cured of the coronavirus. The highest numbers of cases of coronavirus in the world are in America, where more than 42.28 lakh cases have been reported. ore than 1.48 lakh people have died. Followed by more than 23.48 lakh cases in Brazil and more than 85 thousand people have lost their lives. In Russia too, more than 8 lakh cases have been reported and more than 13 thousand people have lost their lives.
