If you suddenly feel like eating idli someday, then you can eat idli made from Rava i.e. semolina. They are delicious to eat and very easy to make. This idli is also good for the stomach.
Idli is liked by everyone in South Indian cuisine. Idlis are very soft and prepared without oil and spices, so children also like the taste of idlis. Although idli is made from rice and urad dal, if you ever feel like eating idli suddenly, you can prepare it by making instant idli from semolina.
In rice-made idli, you have to first soak the lentil rice overnight, then after grinding, you have to keep the batter for about 7-8 hours till the yeast comes, but the specialty of idli is made from semolina is that you can make it and eat it immediately. There is no hassle of soaking or grinding in it. Kids and adults all like Rava Idli very much. Let's know it's a simple recipe.
1 1/2 cups semolina
1 1/2 cups yogurt
1/4 cup water
salt to taste
3/4 tsp Eno salt
Oil to apply on the idli stand
1- First of all, beat the curd well.
2- Now put semolina and curd in a vessel and mix it well.
3- Now add some water and salt and beat it.
4- Keep this mixture covered for about 20 minutes.
5- After 20 minutes, add a little soda to the mixture and mix it well.
6- Keep in mind that your batter is neither too thick nor too thin.
7- So, Now put 2 small glasses of water in the cooker and keep it on the gas to heat.
8- Grease the idli stand with oil and pour the batter with a spoon.
9- So, Now collect the idli stand and keep it in the cooker and remove the whistle, and put the lid of the cooker.
10- Idli will be cooked in 8 or 10 minutes. Open the cooker and check with a knife by inserting idlis.
11- If the batter does not stick to the knife, then idlis are ready.
12- Now Remove the idli from the stand and serve it immediately.
13- You can eat them with sambar, coconut chutney, or peanut chutney.
