On the 82nd birthday of Mulayam Singh Yadav, the three-time Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and one-time Defense Minister, Samajwadi Party (SP) patriarch and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's father, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated him. PM Modi said that the former Chief Minister of UP has made an important contribution to the politics of the country.
Congratulating Mulayam Singh Yadav, Modi said, "Many birthday wishes to former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji. He has made an important contribution to the politics of the country. I wish him a healthy and long life." While congratulating the former Defense Minister on his birthday, CM Yogi tweeted, "Happy birthday and best wishes to former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji. I wish you good health and long life from Lord Shri Ram.
UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also congratulated the former CM.
