Captain Amarinder Singh is present in Delhi. On Thursday, he met National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval. According to the sources, Captain can meet the big leaders of BJP including Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. Sources also say that Captain Amarinder Singh has prepared a bill on agricultural laws. It is being told that if he talks with the BJP on this agriculture bill, then he can come with the BJP. On the other hand, Congress can make a big decision on Captain. The Captain has also sought an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
It is being said about Captain's meeting with NSA Doval that the former CM has informed the NSA about the current political situation in Punjab. He has said earlier also that Punjab is a border state and it is a sensitive state. The Captain does not consider Navjot Singh to be good for national security. Also, Amarinder Singh has said that Sidhu has relations with some people in Pakistan who have an anti-India stand. The captain is considered a nationalist figure. He opposed Sidhu's meeting with Bajwa and supported the 'surgical strike' on Pakistan.
All eyes are on what will be the next stand of the captain. The Congress tried to bring Captain back in the party. The responsibility was given to Kamal Nath and Ambika Soni, but now it has come to light that Rahul Gandhi has asked party leader KC Venugopal to take a big decision on Captain Amarinder Singh. Sources also say that Amarinder Singh can also be expelled from Congress. Also, the Vidhan Sabha elections are to be held in Punjab next year. The government is on the back put on agricultural laws. The government wants the farmers to be reconciled and they withdraw their protest. If the Captain finds a middle ground with the farmers, it will be a relief for the government.
