While the new variant of Covid has scared the whole country, on one hand, the price of crude oil has also been affected due to Omicron. The prices of petrol and diesel at the national level remained stable even on December 01, amid the decrease in the price of crude oil. Meanwhile, there is good news for the people living in the capital Delhi. Actually, petrol can be cheaper in Delhi. According to the information received, there will be a cabinet meeting of the Delhi government at 11:30. During this meeting, the AAP government can take a decision on reducing VAT on petrol.
In fact, such decisions have already been taken in the cities of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Due to the reduction or reduction of VAT in these cities, there has been a difference of Rs 5 per litre in the price of petrol and diesel. In such a situation, the people of Delhi want that the state government should also reduce the VAT on petrol and diesel in the state. On the other hand, if the Delhi government takes this decision, then the prices of petrol and diesel in the capital may come down by Rs 5-10.
Let us inform you that no increase has been seen in the prices of petrol and diesel in the Indian market today i.e. on December 01. That is, today the prices of petrol and diesel have not changed in the capital. With this, this is the 27th consecutive day when Indian oil companies have not made any change in the prices of both.
Today, the price of petrol in Delhi is fixed at Rs 103.97 and that of diesel at Rs 86.67. According to experts, if the price of crude oil continues to fall in the international market, then the price of both may remain stable for the coming few days.
