Ayodhya's Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple's chief priest, Acharya Satyendra Das, has targeted the Congress. He stated that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working on the principle of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" (Together with All, Development for All), the Congress is only engaged in "criticizing" PM Modi.
Acharya Satyendra Das's reaction comes after Congress leader Udit Raj's controversial "Manuvad" (caste-based discrimination) comment.
It is noteworthy that Udit Raj recently stirred up a new controversy by claiming that "500 years later, Manuvad is returning."
Reacting to Udit Raj's comment, Acharya Satyendra Das, the priest of Ayodhya's Ram Temple, said, "What the Prime Minister is doing is 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' (Development for All). Congress wants to come to power, but it won't get it because the public decides who will lead, and these individuals don't seem interested in what the public wants. They are only criticizing the Prime Minister."
Meanwhile, Udit Raj is facing considerable criticism for his statement. The Congress leader later clarified that he is not opposing the Ram Temple and that his tweet should not be associated with the temple.
Congress leader Udit Raj took a veiled swipe at the BJP government regarding the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Temple. During an interview with the news agency ANI, he remarked, "Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the job of 'Shudras' is to serve Brahmins, Kshatriyas, and Vaishyas. When we asked him about his intentions, he deleted the tweet and disappeared."
The Congress leader went on to say, "These people (BJP) oppose the rights of Dalits and backward classes, have terminated their jobs, and are excluding them from administration. This is what 'Manuvad' is."
