Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday i.e. December 04 thanked world leaders, including US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron, for their good wishes on India assuming the chairmanship of the G-20 group and called for working together at the world level.
Responding to a tweet by Biden on India taking over the presidency of the G-20, Modi thanked the US President and stressed the importance of working together.
Modi said in a tweet that thanks the President of America. Your valuable support will be a source of strength for India's G20 Chairmanship. We all must work together to build a better earth.
Let us tell you that US President Biden said in his tweet on Friday that India is a strong partner of America and he looks forward to supporting his friend Prime Minister Modi during India's G20 presidency.
PM Modi also thanked the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and other global leaders including French President Emmanuel Macron on Twitter for their good wishes.
