Indian Railways has traditionally made special accommodations for passengers during festivals. Railways have planned special trains this time as well, in response to the high volume of passengers on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.

In anticipation of the massive influx of people on 'Raksha Bandhan,' Western Railway has planned six special trains. These trains will go on various routes at various times.

According to a press release, the Bandra - Bhavnagar Terminus Superfast Special Train Number (09207) would depart from Bandra Terminus at 7:25 a.m. on August 13th and arrive in Bhavnagar at 9:25 a.m. the following day.

The train (09208) will depart Bhavnagar Terminus at 2:50 PM on August 14th

The train (09208) will depart Bhavnagar Terminus at 2:50 PM on August 14th and arrive in Bandra at 6 AM the following day. The following stations will be served by this train: Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendranagar Gate, Baton, and Dhola.

The Bhavnagar-Bandra Terminus Superfast Special train (09208) will begin service on September 1st at 2.50 pm and arrive in Bandra at 6.00 am. The train (09207) will depart Bandra at 9:15 a.m. and arrive in Bhavnagar at 11:45 p.m.

The Mumbai Central - Okha Special (09097) will depart Mumbai Central at 11:05 a.m. on August 12 and arrive in Okha at 03:35 a.m. the following day. The train (09098) will depart Okha at 10:00 AM on August 15th and arrive at Mumbai Central at 04:35 AM the following day. These trains will stop at the stations of Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Hapa, Jamnagar, and Dwarka.

The Bandra Terminus - Indore Superfast Special (09191) will depart Bandra at 2:40 PM on August 10th and arrive in Indore at 4:40 AM the following day.

The train (09192) will depart Indore at 9:40 PM on August 11th and arrive in Bandra at 1:10 PM the next day.

It passes through Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, and Dewas.

The Bandra Terminus - Indore Superfast Special (09069) will leave Bandra at 02:50 hours on August 12th and arrive in Indore at 4:40 hrs the following day. The train (09070) will depart Indore at 9 p.m. on August 13th and arrive in Bandra at 11:55 a.m. on August 14th. The stations where these trains would stop include Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, and Dewas.

Jaipur Special (09183) will depart from Mumbai Central at 10:50 a.m. on August 10th

The Mumbai Central - Jaipur Special (09183) will depart from Mumbai Central at 10:50 a.m. on August 10th and arrive in Jaipur at 06:30 a.m. the following day. Similarly, the train (09184) will depart Jaipur at 7:35 p.m. on August 11th and arrive in Borivali at 12:30 p.m. on August 12th. From both ends, the train will stop at Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, and Durgapur stations.

Mumbai Central-Okha Special (09097), Okha-Mumbai Central Special (09098), Bandra Terminus-Indore Superfast Special (09192), Mumbai Central-Jaipur Special (09183), and Jaipur Special-Bookings for Mumbai Central (09184) will begin on August 8.

Reservations for the Bandra-Bhavnagar Terminus Superfast Special Train (09207) and the Bhavnagar Terminus-Bandra Superfast Special Train (09208) will be available from August 9.

Rajasthan Government also announced free travel for women in state buses on Rakhi

Happy Raksha Bandhan! 2022: Rajasthan Transport Corporation (Rajasthan Roadways) has offered free transport for ladies and girls on Rakhi, as it does every year (Raksha Bandhan). According to Rajasthan Roads officials, the benefit of free travel would be available exclusively in roadways' regular and fast buses. Traveling on AC and Volvo buses will incur a fee. In addition, free travel would be provided only inside Rajasthan's jurisdiction (boundary). Money will be required when leaving Rajasthan.
