Today is Republic Day and on this day the national flag is hoisted with great pride along with the national anthem. On this day, the President of India also hoists the tricolour flag at India Gate in Delhi. Today, since morning the whole country is covered with clouds and people are breathing heavily due to the cold. The soldiers of our army and paramilitary forces stationed on the border are celebrating Republic Day with great pride while being deployed to protect the borders of the country. In the freezing cold, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Himveers hoisted the tricolour flag on the Ladakh border at an altitude of 15000 feet in -35 degree temperature.
News agency ANI informed about this by tweeting, 'The Himveer jawans of ITBP celebrated Republic Day by hoisting the tricolour flag of India at an altitude of 15000 feet in -35 degree temperature on the Ladakh border on Wednesday morning.' It is a matter of pride for us that soldiers of the army and paramilitary forces stationed on the border full of patriotism are hoisting the tricolour in honour of Mother Bharti on the occasion of Republic Day with enthusiasm.
On the other hand, PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted the countrymen on the occasion of Republic Day 2022. He tweeted, "Wishing you all a very Happy Republic Day. Jai Hind!" The country is celebrating the 73rd Republic Day. Like every year, this time also the main function is being organized at Rajpath in the capital Delhi.
Along with this, America has also congratulated India on Republic Day. Greeting Indians on India's 73rd Republic Day, the White House said that the basis of the partnership between India and America is their shared responsibility to uphold democratic values. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said, 'We are celebrating the Republic Day of the world's largest democratic country together with India.'
"When Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the White House in September last year, US President Joe Biden had said that it is destined to have stronger and closer ties between India and the US".
