Russia intensifies shelling in residential areas

Here the news is coming that on the 12th day of the war, Russian forces have intensified shelling in cities located in the central, northern and southern parts of Ukraine. The second attempt to evacuate the civilians trapped there also failed due to this shelling. Ukraine's leader has urged his people to take to the streets to fight. At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russian attacks "can only be stopped if Kyiv ends hostilities".
President Zelensky's adviser, Oleksiy Erestovich, said the shelling was carried out on the outskirts of Kyiv, Chernihiv in the north, Mykolaiv in the south and Kharkiv, the country's second-largest city, late on Sunday. According to local officials, artillery shells were fired in Kharkiv’s residential areas and a television tower was also damaged in the shelling.
