Senior Congress leader and National President of All India Mahila Congress Sushmita Dev has resigned from the primary membership of the party. First, he left the party's WhatsApp group. After this, in the bio of Twitter, he described himself as a former Congress leader. He then sent his resignation to the interim president of the party, Sonia Gandhi.

It is being told that she was angry with the party for a long time. His displeasure also came to the fore during the Assam Assembly elections. Now it is being speculated that Sushmita Dev may join TMC. According to the report, Sushmita is in touch with TMC leaders and may soon reach Kolkata and meet Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee or Abhishek Banerjee.
