In most states of India, the monsoon rains are soaking people. According to the weather department, the monsoon has reached across the country before its usual date of July 8.

Continuous rainfall is being witnessed in various states including the capital Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and others. The weather department has once again issued rainfall alerts for several states.

Rain Alert in Delhi

In Delhi, light rain was reported in some parts on Tuesday. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for rain in Delhi today.

The capital is expected to have partly cloudy skies throughout the day with a possibility of moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.

The maximum temperature in the city is predicted to hover around 35 degrees Celsius, with cloudy skies prevailing.

In Uttar Pradesh, most districts are currently experiencing rainfall. It is expected that UP will continue to see good rainfall throughout the week.

A rain alert has been issued for 67 districts in UP on Wednesday. There is also a possibility of heavy rainfall in various districts of Bihar.

Status of Other States

The weather department has issued orange alerts for approximately 13 states. According to the forecast, heavy rainfall is expected on Wednesday in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, eastern Rajasthan, western Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.

Additionally, heavy to very heavy rainfall is possible in northeastern India, the foothills of the Himalayas, West Bengal, and Sikkim.
