Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Ceremony: The Congress Party President, Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and the party's leader in the Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, have been invited to attend the consecration ceremony of the grand Ram Temple being constructed in Ayodhya.
The consecration ceremony, also known as the Pran Pratishtha Samaroh, is scheduled for January 22. Sources have revealed that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has extended invitations to these leaders.
However, the likelihood of these senior Congress leaders participating in the ceremony appears uncertain.
Former Prime Ministers Manmohan Singh and H.D. Deve Gowda have also received invitations for the event.
Sources indicate that a delegation associated with the trust sent out these invitations, and there is a possibility that invitations may be extended to other opposition leaders in the coming days.
The trust has stated that invitations have been extended not only to revered saints from various traditions but also to prominent personalities from different sectors, aiming to enhance the nation's prestige.
The trust emphasized that invitations have been sent to key individuals contributing to the nation's honour across various fields.
The trust has also announced the establishment of a tent city at the new Teerthakshetrapuram, which includes six tube wells, six kitchen facilities, and a hospital with ten beds. Approximately 150 doctors nationwide have agreed to provide their services in rotation at this hospital.
The trust mentioned that around 4,000 saints from different faiths have been invited to participate in the ceremony. Additionally, it has been highlighted that the tent city and the hospital are set up to accommodate and serve the needs of the participants during the event.
