Google is an American multinational technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products, which include online advertising technologies, search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware. It is considered one of the Big Four technology companies, along with Amazon, Apple, and Facebook.

Google is reportedly working on a feature for its voice-enabled Google Assistant that will personalize results by scanning your face.

The latest beta for the Google Assistant app hints at the 'Face Match' feature. As the name indicates, it would scan your face to provide customized commands on camera-equipped devices.

For the feature to work, you will be obviously required to learn about your face and with AI, it would soon learn about your preferences and provide results accordingly. You can also add multiple devices to support the customized feature, and invite more people to add their profiles.

Google began in January 1996 as a research project by Larry Page and Sergey Brin when they were both Ph.D. students at Stanford University in Stanford, California.

There's no clue as to when Face Match might launch, assuming it launches in the first place. The absence of imagery and other content implies that it might not arrive for a while. It could make sense, though.

So long as your device has a camera no Home Hub users need to apply you could view sensitive info or issue commands without having to create a voice profile. This might also be an accessibility feature – people who can't speak could still get a customized, private experience in a multi-user household.
