The people of Uttar Pradesh may soon see a reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has called an important meeting at his residence at 5.30 pm today in which a decision can be taken regarding the VAT on the prices of petrol and diesel. If sources are to be believed, the government can give relief to the common man in the increased prices of petrol and diesel by reducing VAT. If this happens, then it will be a big relief for the people suffering from inflation.

People can get relief

Let us tell you that in most states of the country including UP, petrol prices have crossed Rs 100 per litre at this time, while diesel is also close to scoring a century. In such a situation, before the assembly elections to be held next year, if the Yogi government reduces the rates of VAT in it, then the general public will definitely get some relief.

In fact, in the last few days, there has been a huge increase in the prices of petrol and diesel, due to which the government is now coming under the target of the people. On Tuesday itself, Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had said that his government is trying to bring down oil prices.

Oil prices are increasing continuously

The fire in the prices of petrol and diesel has added to the problems of the common man. According to this, the price of petrol in Delhi increased by 35 paise per litre to Rs 108.29 per litre. While diesel prices also increased by the same margin to Rs 97 per litre. Fuel prices remained stable on Monday and Tuesday last week.
