After coming to Patna, RJD supremo Lalu Yadav has openly expressed his views in an interview given to a news agency. Lalu told that what he has done for Congress, who is spoiling his relation with Congress, what is Nitish Kumar in his eyes? Lalu Yadav openly praised Tejashwi Yadav in his interview. He said that Tejashwi is running the organization and the party well, he is an efficient leader. Lalu Yadav did not discuss his family discord.
Lalu Yadav claimed victory of his party in the assembly by-elections. He said that he had no doubt that the RJD candidates would win the elections in both seats. Tejashwi Yadav has already cleared the air of the opponents and I myself have come to immerse the little which is left. Lalu Yadav said that he will campaign in both the assembly constituencies on October 27.
RJD supremo said that Congress is the oldest party in the country. Congress exists at the national level. Who has done as much as we have done for Congress? The central leadership of the Congress knows this, but the little-known leaders of the Congress do not understand this. Lalu said that even today only Congress can lead the opposition unity in the country.
Describing Nitish Kumar as arrogant, Lalu Yadav said that Nitish was seeing himself as the Prime Minister. He was being called PM material from all sides. No one can be an arrogant person like Nitish Kumar. When Nitish failed to become PM, he sat in the lap of the BJP. BJP and PM Narendra Modi also know very well what Nitish Kumar is. They remain in power in Bihar with the help of jugaad.
Lalu also took a dig at the BJP and the central government. Said that the inflation in the country has now gone above the backbreaking situation. Petrol and diesel prices are skyrocketing. It has become difficult for the common people to live. When BJP was in opposition, it used to make inflation an issue, but today the discussion of inflation is not being allowed in the country. The common man is troubled and the government does not care about it.
