A report has been filed against former Chief Minister of Lucknow and National President of Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav at Gautam Palli police station in Lucknow. After the Lakhimpur Kheri violence, Akhilesh Yadav, who was sitting on a dharna outside his residence in Lucknow, has been booked by the police alleging violation of Section 144 and obstructing government work.
In fact, on October 3, farmers protesting in the violence were killed in Tikunia in the Lakhimpur district of the state. Two BJP workers, a driver, and a journalist were lynched by angry farmers. In this sequence, on October 4, SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav sat on a dharna outside his residence.
A total of eight people were killed in the violence that took place on October 3 at Tikunia in Lakhimpur Kheri. Among them were four farmers. There was tremendous publicity in this matter. After Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, on October 4, Akhilesh Yadav wanted to visit Lakhimpur Kheri to meet the family of the deceased farmers, but the district administration did not allow him.
Akhilesh Yadav, along with hundreds of his supporters, was adamant to go to Lakhimpur Kheri. On October 4, he left for his residence. But when the police stopped him, he sat on a dharna in the middle of the road. During this, hundreds of SP workers were also present there. Not only this, but a police jeep was also set on fire.
The police tried to convince Akhilesh a lot. Even after this when he did not agree, the police took him into custody, and then he was released. Now in this case the police have filed an FIR against Akhilesh Yadav. Also, an FIR has also been registered in the name of Amit who set a police jeep on Fire. The police are making efforts to arrest Amit.
