Today is the birthday of Lal Krishna Advani, the former Home Minister of the country and a member of the Margdarshak Mandal of the Bharatiya Janata Party. On this occasion, PM Narendra Modi went to Advani's house and congratulated him on his birthday. During this, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP National President JP Nadda were also present with him. A video of the meeting has surfaced in which PM gives Advani a bouquet of flowers and then, holding hands, brings Advani to the lawn outside the house.
Earlier, while wishing Advani on his birthday by tweeting, PM Modi said, 'Happy birthday to respected Advani Ji. I pray for his long and healthy life. The nation will remain indebted to him for his many efforts towards empowering the people and furthering our cultural pride. He is also widely respected for his scholarly activities and brilliant prudence.
BJP President JP Nadda also tweeted and congratulated Advani on his birthday and said, "Many birthday greetings to respected Shri LK Advani Ji, who took BJP to the masses and played an important role in the development of the country." He is the source of inspiration for crores of workers. I pray to God for your long life and healthy life.'
