Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath directed to conduct various activities in the Unlock-2 system in accordance with the guidelines of the Government of India and on Tuesday, he said that it should be implemented with full preparation while studying the provisions of the Central Government. The Chief Minister was reviewing the unlocked system at a high-level meeting convened at his government residence here.

It is necessary to take full care and caution at every level

He said that prevention is the treatment of corona infection and therefore, to break the chain of infection of COVID-19, it is necessary to take full care and caution at every level. Avoid unnecessary traffic as much as possible. Yogi instructed to continue the campaign work aimed at making people aware of COVID-19 and said that for this, awareness was created through radio, TV as well as banners, posters, handbills etc.

Interact with family members of patients admitted in COVID hospitals

The Chief Minister said that efforts should be continued to increase the testing capacity and increase the number of beds in COVID hospitals. Ensure availability of infrared thermometer and pulse oximeter at COVID help desk, besides this the masks, gloves and sanitizers should be given to the employees working at the help desk. Interact with family members of patients admitted in COVID hospitals and inform them about the health status of the patients regularly.

He also directed to pay special attention to cleanliness in the 'holding areas' of all hospitals and to ensure adequate availability of wheel chairs and stretchers in hospitals. The holding area in a hospital is the emergency department area where critically ill patients are temporarily placed before being transferred to the ICU.

The Chief Minister said that communicable disease control campaign is being started from July 1, 2020. Hygiene has a major role in controlling communicable diseases like COVID-19. In view of this, he directed to conduct cleanliness campaign mission mode in rural and urban areas. He also directed that during communicable disease control campaign, special care should also be taken that people should use mask or face cover compulsorily and follow physical distancing.

CM Yogi directed that the arrangement of straw as well as green fodder for cow cattle should be ensured at cow-shelter sites. He said that extensive arrangements for spraying chemicals should be made to ensure that the Locust army does not harm agriculture. He also said that to get maximum revenue from mining, the tender process should be started from now, so that mining work can be started from October 1, 2020.
