BJP leader has complained to Rahul Gandhi against Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singh Deo. In the letter sent to Rahul Gandhi, it has been alleged that TS Singh Deo and his family members have fraudulently sold land worth crores in their names. There has been a stir in Chhattisgarh due to allegations made by BJP leader and councillor Alok Dubey. TS Singh Deo is considered a contender for the chief minister's post in Chhattisgarh and the fight for the CM's chair has reached Delhi several times.
TS Singh Deo is the MLA from Ambikapur seat of Chhattisgarh and the Health Minister in the current Bhupesh Baghel government. He belongs to the Sarguja royal family. The princely state of Surguja was merged with Madhya Pradesh in 1948 after the independence of the country. Later, after the division of the state, the Surguja division came to Chhattisgarh. The allegations made by the BJP leader are related to this. When the princely state of Surguja was merged, it was decided which property would remain with the Singh Deo family and which would be the right of the government. But it is alleged that TS Singh Deo and his family members sold government land worth Rs 250 crore in Ambikapur city by making changes in the government record 'Sarguja Settlement'.
In a letter to Rahul Gandhi, it has been said on behalf of the BJP leader that TS Singh Deo is considered to be the chief ministerial candidate along with being the king of Surguja. In such a situation, the current Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is unable to muster the courage to take action against him. Not only this, but it has also been alleged in the letter that Surguja is a terror of the monarchy, due to which the district administration has not taken any action till now.
According to media reports, Santosh Singh, counsel for Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singh Deo, has termed these allegations as prejudiced and politically motivated. He said that every effort was being made to tarnish the image of TS Singh Deo, one of the biggest contenders for the post of Chief Minister. Let us tell you that Rahul Gandhi is going to Raipur this week on 3rd February. It is being said that political rivals, especially party people, are trying to send a message by raising cases against them because Ajit Jogi has also made such allegations earlier.
