Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who arrived in China after the withdrawal of special state status from Jammu and Kashmir, has claimed that Beijing has supported his stand on Kashmir. After the decision of the Government of India, Pakistan said that it will take up the Kashmir issue with international forums and heads of nations. Since China is his most trusted partner, Qureshi is the first to arrive at China's doorstep. Qureshi met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and other leaders on Thursday. After this meeting, Qureshi made several tweets. He claimed, 'I had a big and decisive meeting with the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi today. Pakistan has a brotherly relationship with China and by expressing this relationship, China assured Pakistan of its support.
He said, Pakistan and China are together against the "aggression" of India in Kashmir and both countries call for peace and stability in the region. Qureshi claimed, "Foreign Minister Wang Yi believed that India's aggressive attitude in Kashmir could harm the people there and they would not be able to raise their voice." With this move of India, the entire region will face danger. The Foreign Minister said that 'both countries will work together to bring the voice of Kashmiri people to the world'.
