Three ministers of the Gehlot government have offered to resign. Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara, Health minister Raghu Sharma and Revenue Minister Harish Chaudhary have written to Sonia Gandhi offering to step down as ministers. This letter is believed to be the resignation of the three ministers. Ajay Maken, in charge of the Rajasthan Congress, informed about the resignation of the three ministers as soon as they reached Jaipur.

Ministers had expressed their desire to leave the ministerial rank

Maken said that when he met the ministers on July 30, some of our ministers had expressed their desire to leave the ministerial rank and work in the organization. Our three promising ministers Govind Singh Dotasara, Harish Chaudhary, and Raghu Sharma have written letters to Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Minister has offered to step down. All three have expressed their willingness to work for the party organization. Such promising ministers want to work in the organization, that is why they have resigned.

One person, one post formula was supposed to be implemented in Congress. Dotasara was handling the responsibility of Congress State President along with the Education Minister. Revenue Minister Harish Chaudhary was made Punjab and Health minister Raghu Sharma was made Gujarat charge. Since then, it was believed that ministers holding positions in the organization would be thrown out of the cabinet. After the offer of resignation of three ministers, it is believed that they will be accepted.

Harish Chaudhary had offered to leave the post of the minister 

Revenue Minister Harish Choudhary had recently announced that he would step down as a minister under the one man one post formula as soon as he became the in-charge of Punjab. Harish Chaudhary had said at that time that the responsibility of Punjab in-charge is full-time work. It is not possible to be a minister with this. Raghu Sharma had indicated to leave the ministerial post as soon as he became the in-charge of Gujarat.

CM had indicated to leave the post of Dotasara three days ago

Three days ago, during the teacher's honor ceremony in Jaipur, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had indicated to leave the post of education minister of Dotasara. The CM had said that today's speech of Dotasara looked like a farewell speech. So they have offered to the Congress high command that I should be kept in the same post.

12 new ministers set to be made

After the resignations of three ministers, 12 seats are now vacant in the Gehlot cabinet. Earlier there were 21 ministers including CM, now with three more vacancies, this number will be reduced to 18. In the current situation, it has been decided to become 12 new ministers. There is also a possibility that some more ministers may be removed on the basis of performance.

Cabinet reshuffle anytime now

After the resignation of three ministers and Ajay Maken's visit to Jaipur, now the Gehlot cabinet can be reshuffled anytime. The countdown for the cabinet reshuffle has started. However, Ajay Maken will stay in Jaipur for some time.

Ajay Maken has discussed with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot as soon as he reaches Jaipur. According to sources, the Congress high command has approved the formula for the cabinet reshuffle. Now also swearing-in can happen at any time. Ajay Maken's circle is being linked to the reshuffle itself. So there will be political appointments after the cabinet reshuffle.
