A vicious thug has been arrested by the Bangrota Police of Jaipur. Who used to pretend to be a journalist and get a job in the secretariat and get transferred. Then he used to grab money from people. To escape from the police, the vicious thug used to take a room on rent. Which kept changing from time to time. With no whereabouts, the police had to struggle a lot to find him.
DCP (West) Richa Tomar said that the arrested accused Ravindra Sharma (35) is a resident of Shastri Colony, Bansur tehsil in Alwar district. He was living on rent in Jaipur for a long time. At the time of his arrest, he was living in Mahesh Nagar with a rented room in Mahadev Nagar.
Police investigation revealed that he roams around posing as a journalist in a regional news channel in Rajasthan. On the pretext of reporting, he takes photographs with local leaders and officers. On the basis of this, he bluffs people on the pretext of getting jobs and transfer postings in the Government Secretariat of Jaipur. Then grabs the big amount and stops contacting. With the amount recovered, Ravindra was leading a life of luxury.
DCP Richa Tomar said that in the Bhankrota area of the city, Ravindra Sharma had committed three different incidents of cheating on the pretext of getting a job and getting a transfer. When the matter reached the police station, the team of SHO Mukesh Chaudhary started the search. Meanwhile, information was received from the informer that the wanted Ravindra Sharma is around a private college on New Sanganer Road. Then the police team arrested Ravindra.
During interrogation, it came to light that a case has been registered against the accused Ravindra Sharma in the MLApuri police station of Jaipur in 2019. In which after the arrest, the police presented the challan in the court. He is under interrogation.
