IPL 2025 Mega Auction: The 18th season of the IPL will be held in 2025, along with the highly anticipated mega auction. The IPL Governing Council has officially announced the auction dates, scheduled for November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
This time, 409 overseas players from 16 different countries have registered for the auction, including players from 6 associate nations.
South Africa leads the registration count for foreign players, followed closely by Australia.
According to official information from the Indian Premier League, South Africa has the highest number of foreign players registered for the upcoming mega auction, with 91 players from the country.
Australia ranks second, with 76 players registered, while England follows in third place, contributing 52 players to the auction list.
As for associate nations, Canada has 4 players registered, the Netherlands has 12, Scotland has 2, the USA has 10, and both the UAE and Italy have one player each registered for the mega auction.
