The Indian Cricket Team has created the best batters in cricketing history in all the generations and across the three formats of this gentlemen’s game.

In today’s time, where the competition is so high and it demands a lot from the players, still, the batsmen have done well in the limited opportunities which they have got till now.

The players are also blessed to get an ideal platform like the Indian Premier League. This cash-rich league tournament of the T20 format has spotted many young and raw talents who will serve Indian Cricket in future.

The IPL can be a potential window where the young guns of India can be selected for the national side.

Scoring just one century in one format is itself a huge task. But the Indian cricket team have batters who are always up for the challenge in all situations.

There are batters who have smashed a ton in each of the three forms of the game. These five batters have smashed a ton in red ball format and the white ball games which are known as the limited overs format.

Here are the names of those 5 Indian Batsmen With One Century In Each Format -

The Indian skipper of the Test and ODI format is the first player who has smashed a ton in all three forms of the game as player and Indian captain.

As a player, Rohit scored a first century in the shortest format against South Africa in 2015 at Dharamshala. Rohit scored 106 runs in that game and he also holds the record of scoring the most tons in T20 Internationals as well.

His first ton in the red ball format was in 2013 against The Windies. He smashed 177 runs on his Test debut and he smashed his first hundred in the fifty overs format in 2010 against Zimbabwe. He scored 114 runs in a losing cause.

As captain, HITMAN scored his first Test hundred in the BGT 2023 series. Sharma smashed 121 runs in Nagpur against The Aussies.

His ODI century as the Indian skipper was against the arch-rivals Pakistan in the 2018 Asia Cup, which India won under him and in that game, Rohit was unbeaten on 111 runs. His first ton as the captain of the Indian T20I team was against Sri Lanka in 2017 where he scored 118 runs.

Rohit is the first player and only Indian captain to score a ton in all three formats. While Suresh Raina is the first ever to get to this milestone in Indian cricket history as a player.

Raina was a brilliant middle-order player for the men in blue side. He used to bowl the part-time spin as well and currently, India is missing a player like Suresh Raina in the test team. Suresh was the first ever Indian batter who scored a ton in the T20 World Cup and his century was in the winning cause as well.

Raina never captained the Indian team on a full-time basis, he achieved this record only as a player till he played for Team India. His first and only T20I was in the 2010 T20 WC.

Suresh scored a match-winning score of 101 runs against a good bowling attack from South Africa. Raina scored 101 runs against Hong Kong in the Asia Cup of 2008, that was his first century in the ODI format.

Then he also slammed a ton in the red ball format against Sri Lanka. He scored 120 runs in his maiden red-ball match for India.

The Karnataka opener has blown hot and cold in the matches he has played for India. KL had been consistent enough to cement his place in the team and his injury also didn’t allow him to participate in the WTC 2023 Final against The Aussies.

Still, he has been a talented batter in the Indian team line up and that too in all three forms of the game.

Rahul’s first T20I ton was against West Indies in 2016. He scored an unbeaten 110 runs, which almost took India to a famous win.

In the ODI format, KL scored his ton in his very first match of the fifty-overs format. Against Zimbabwe at Harare, the opener was not out on 100 runs in 2016.

While his Test ton came in Sydney Cricket Ground when India toured Down Under. In 2015, KL Rahul scored 110 runs against Australia.

King Kohli scored 122 runs in that game which India won by 101 runs. Earlier Kohi had scored tons in the fifty-over format and red ball format matches as well and that’s why he has been featured in this list.

Virat slammed his first ODI ton in 2017 against Sri Lanka where he scored 107 runs at Eden Gardens and his first-ever ton in test matches was against Australia in Adelaide. He scored 116 runs in that red ball match played in 2011.
