Marnus Labuschagne has been included for the first time in Australia's ODI team, who has performed well in Test cricket. Australia has announced ODI Squad on Tuesday for ODI Series against India. It also includes the name of Labuschagne. The batsman, who played 12 Tests, got a place in the ODI team for the first time. Next year the Australia cricket team has to tour India for the ODI series. For this, Cricket Australia announced a 14-member team on Tuesday. In this team, 25-year-old Marnus Labuschagne has been given a place in ODI Squad.
Announcing the team, the selector said, "Our performance in white ball cricket has been very strong and we hope that we will maintain this rhythm till the T20 World Cup to be played at home."
On Labuschagne's selection, he said, "We believe that Marnus is now fully prepared to debut in international cricket with the white ball. Especially, after he showed his game against Queensland." In the last one year, he has performed well in Test cricket. Labuschagne, who scored a double century against Pakistan, also scored an excellent 143 in the first Test against New Zealand. This was his third consecutive Test century.
