Bayern Munich won 3-1 over fourth division side FC Energie Cottbus to progress to the second round of the German Cup.

Cottbus endure another risk from Lewandowski right off the bat in the second half to keep the score shockingly close given the immense gap in quality between the separate clubs.

Bayern at long last got their second goal in the 65th minute, as Coman associated from outside the region with assistance from sub-Leon Goretzka, who positively influenced the match only two minutes in the wake of going ahead for Renato Sanches.
