On Wednesday, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced its 13-man squad for the second test match against West Indies. England's playing eleven will be selected from this 13-man squad announced on Wednesday evening. The surprising thing is that after the defeat in the first Test match, the England Cricket Board has made major changes for the second Test match.

Experienced bowlers James Anderson and Mark Wood not included:

The England Cricket Board has excluded experienced bowlers like James Anderson and Mark Wood. Apart from them, batsman Joe Denly will also not be able to play in this match, as he has not been included in the 13-man squad. However, the ECB has said that James Anderson and Mark Wood have been given rest, while captain Joe Root returns to the team.

Joe Root returns for the second test match:

Due to the birth of his second child, Joe Root, the regular captain of the England Test team, was not part of the team in the first match, in which the team had to face defeat. However, he will now play in the second Test match. The team includes Joe Root, Sam Curran, and Ollie Robinson in place of Joe Denly, James Anderson and Mark Wood. Let me tell you that this test match is very important for England. If the host team loses this match then it will lose the series.

England team for second test match:

Bowler: Joe Root (captain), Jofra Archer, Dominic Bess, Stuart Broad, Rory Burns, Jos Butler, Zack Crawley, Sam Curran, Ollie Pope, Ollie Robinson, Dom Sibley, Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes.
