ICC T-20 Ranking: ICC has released the latest Twenty-Twenty rankings. Lokesh Rahul, who recently performed well in the latest rankings, has retained the second position. Australian spinner Ashton Agar, who contributed significantly to the series win against South Africa, has gained a lot in the latest rankings. Australian left-arm spinner Ashton Agar has reached number four in the list of bowlers.
Rahul, who is in excellent form, reached the second place after performing brilliantly in New Zealand earlier this month. Rahul has 823 points and he is behind Pakistan batsman Babar Azam on top, who has 879 points.
Indian captain Virat Kohli also remains at number 10 with 673 points. Australian opener David Warner has jumped from 25th to 18th and his teammate Steve Smith 265 places to number 53.
In the bowlers' list, Ashton Agar, who took five wickets including a hat-trick in the first T20 match against South Africa, jumped six places to reach number four. Agar's teammate Adam Zampa has climbed up one place to third and Tabraiz Shamsi of South Africa has moved up five places to number three.
In the Test rankings released two days ago, Team India captain Virat Kohli had to bear the brunt of bad performance. Virat Kohli had scored 21 runs in both innings of the first Test and due to this, he has now lost his first position to reach the second position, while Smith has once again captured the number 1 position. Bumrah has also been out of the top 10.
