The first match of the five-match Test series is being played between India and England at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Due to rain, only 49 overs were played on the third day in which India scored 278 runs in their first innings while England scored 25/0 in the second innings. England had scored 183 runs in the first innings and India still 70 runs lead. Meanwhile, the third day of the match saw a fierce argument between Indian fast bowler Mohammad Siraj and England's veteran James Anderson.

The incident happened during the second session on Friday when Siraj and Bumrah were the last pair at the crease. This made the England players look desperate. James Anderson had some words to say to Siraj, who also didn't back down. Anderson lost his cool and got into a tussle with Siraj.

Video went viral on social media:

After completing the 84th over during the second session on the third day of the match, Anderson turned to Siraj and spoke a few words. Meanwhile, Siraj turned around to give a reply. However, the matter did not progress much and Anderson went back to field. On the other hand, Siraj also changed ends for the next over. Both the players calmed down at the same time, but the video of this tussle between Anderson and Siraj immediately went viral on social media.

Siraj (7) and Bumrah (28) put on a crucial 33-run stand for the last wicket, helping India take a 95-run lead in their first innings. Later, Ollie Robinson ended the innings by dismissing Bumrah and completed his five-wicket haul for the first time in Test cricket.
