A three-match T20I series is being played between India and Sri Lanka at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The second match of this series will take place on 27 July. According to Indian time, this match will start at 8 pm. In such a situation, before this match, the Indian team management will select a strong playing XI as two players of the team also selected for the tour of England.

On Monday morning, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the replacements of Shubman Gill, Avesh Khan and Washington Sundar. Apart from Abhimanyu Easwaran, Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav also included in the team. Easwaran is in England as stand-by, but Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav are currently in Sri Lanka, who have to travel to England. In such a situation, the question is arising whether Shaw and Yadav will be included in the playing XI in the second match or not, as they have to go on the tour of England as well.

Shaw and Yadav to undergo quarantine process:

It is not yet confirmed when Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav leave for England. As they will have to go through the quarantine process on their way to England. In such a situation, before the Test series starting on August 4, the management would like both these players to reach England as soon as possible.

Shikhar Dhawan (capt), Prithvi Shaw/Devdutt Padikkal, Ishan Kishan (wk). Suryakumar Yadav/Manish Pandey, Sanju Samson, Hardik Pandya. Krunal Pandya, Deepak Chahar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal and Varun Chakraborty.
