Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced on Thursday that fast bowler Mohammad Amir has left for England to join Pakistan's advance training group after his second COVID-19 test came negative. Pakistan's team is currently in England and is playing a practice match there. The Test series between the two countries is going to begin in August. Apart from Amir, support staff member Mohammad Imran will also travel to England after test negative for the second time.

Mohammad Amir will travel with support staff member Mohd Imran:

The PCB issued a statement saying, "Fast bowler Mohammad Amir and support staff member Mohammad Imran will travel to England on Friday morning after test negative in the COVID-19 Test for the second time. As per the revised COVID-19 regulations, Imran is categorized as low risk after having recovered from the virus and, as such, would be integrated with the national side after another negative test." Let us tell you that Amir had earlier ruled out of the team. The reason for his withdrawal was that he and his wife were expecting their second child.

Pakistan will play 3-match Test and 3-matches T20 series:

Let us tell you that Pakistan players and support staff reached England on 28 June, several weeks before the first match started. After arriving, the team was in Quarantine for 14 days before traveling to Derby. Pakistan is living in a bio-secure environment, where they will not interact with anyone outside the group and the COVID-19 testing will be conducted regularly on the tour. Pakistan and England have to face each other in a three-Test series and an equal number of T20 International matches. The first Test of the series is to be played at Old Trafford in Manchester from 5 August.
