Prithvi Shaw, Jayant Yadav and Suryakumar Yadav are all set to join the Indian team in the UK as replacements for injured players. Shubman Gill, Washington Sundar and Avesh Khan have already been ruled out of the team after getting injured before the five-match Test series against England. With Washington Sundar being ruled out, Axar Patel could replace him in the team.

According to the report, BCCI has sought to supplement their playing contingent in the UK following a spate of injuries. If Jayant goes to England, then after a long time he will return to Team India. Let us tell you that firstly the team's opener batsman Shubman Gill ruled out of the Test series due to inury, then after that the team's reserve bowler Avesh Khan suffered fracture in the thumb and also ruled out of the Test series. A five-match Test series will take place between India and England, which will start from August 4.

Rishabh Pant joins Team India squad after recovering from COVID-19:

Meanwhile, wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has joined the bio-bubble of the Indian cricket team after recovering from COVID-19. He has entered the bio-bubble during the practice match.

Pant's inclusion in the team before the Nottingham Test will strengthen the team. He tested positive for COVID-19 a few days ago while on a 20-day break. After this, he was immediately sent to isolation following the coronavirus protocol. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the return of Rishabh Pant on Twitter. "Hello @RishabhPant17, great to have you back," BCCI wrote on its official Twitter.
