Former India captain and wicketkeeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who has been away from cricket since the World Cup, celebrated Christmas in Dubai. MS Dhoni was also seen with wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant. Pant reached Dubai after winning the series against the West Indies and celebrated the Christmas with Dhoni. Pictures of Dhoni and Pant are going viral on social media in which Dhoni and Pant are seen together with some of their friends. Pant, sharing his picture on Twitter, wrote 'Wishing you a #MerryChristmas. May the festive season bring peace, joy and happiness to all.'
Rishabh Pant has batted brilliantly in the ODI series against the West Indies. Team India has to play T20 series Against Sri Lanka in January in which Pant is also part of the team. After selection in the team, chief selector MSK Prasad had said for Pant that he would have to improve his wicket-keeping. Also, to improve Pant's wicket-keeping, the team management is also going to appoint a specialist wicket-keeping coach.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been out of Team India for a long time. At present there is no news of when he will return to the field. Dhoni had said about his return that he should not be asked about this till January.
