VVS Laxman considered Team India's winning the Test series in Australia this year a big achievement. Laxman said that his dream came true after Virat Kohli and his team went to Australia and won the Test series this year. India won the 4-match Test series against Australia 2–1 this year.
The Indian team has won the Test series for the first time in Australia. Playing under the captaincy of Tim Paine, Australia was beaten 2–1 by India. India won the first and third Tests in the four-match series. The second match was won by Australia and the last match was a draw.
