After state vice-president Kripal Parmar, BJP State Working Committee member related to Solan and in-charge of Sirmaur Pawan Gupta has also resigned from his post. He has sent his resignation to BJP state president Suresh Kashyap. He said that the corruption cases wanted to be exposed, but there was no hearing in the government and the organization. Due to this harassment, this step has been taken. His move is believed to be the result of the Baghat Bank dispute.
Pawan Gupta is the former Chairman of The Baghat Urban Co-operative Bank. He is considered close to former state BJP president Dr. Rajiv Bindal. He said that he has worked for the party for 40 years and will continue to be in the party as a worker, but he is hurt due to a lack of hearing in the government and the organization. Gupta alleges that due to pressure, his nomination in the Baghat Bank election was canceled.
On November 14, elections were held for the post of director of Baghat Bank, but before the elections, the members of the Managing Committee headed by him were removed from the post. Gupta said that in the letter sent to the state president, full details of the harassment were given. A copy of the resignation has also been sent to the party high command. He alleged that a dictatorial attitude is prevailing in the party. This resignation has been given at a time when the State Working Committee meeting is being held in Shimla. The issue of non-hearing in the party is also being seen as an internal fight.
BJP State Working Committee member Pawan Gupta alleged that bureaucracy is dominating the government. He is being harassed for the last six months.
