On Republic Day, the Delhi Police is fully equipped to deal with any terrorist plot. From January 20 to February 15, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are prohibited in the capital. During this time, paragliders, paramotors, unmanned aircraft systems, remotely piloted aircraft, small-sized aircraft, quadcopters, and para jumping will be prohibited, according to Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana. Terrorists can use Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to threaten the security of the general public, dignitaries, and vital locations.
A nine-page alert from Delhi Police has been submitted to the Intelligence Bureau. Terrorists are allegedly plotting to assassinate many of the country's top leaders. According to sources, the terrorist group Khalistan Liberation Force collaborated with other terrorist groups. As a result, the security of the capital's significant landmarks and buildings has been enhanced.

The Republic Day parade will begin half an hour later this year. For the first time in the country's 75 years of independence, the parade will begin half an hour late.
