11-Year-Old Boy Sexually Assaulted: Once again, the case of sexual harassment has come to the fore in a madrasa. This case pertains to a madrasa located in Karawal Nagar, Delhi, where the cleric has done the heinous act of sexually harassing a minor boy studying in the same madrasa.
An 11-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by a cleric in Karawal Nagar, Delhi. After the incident, there is a demand for strict punishment of the cleric.
The boy told that he has been studying in a madrasa for the last 4 years. He lived on the upper floor of the madrasa, while the cleric lived below.
On the night of 14 and 15 August, when preparations were being made for Independence Day, the cleric took him to a room and sexually assaulted him there. Also, the cleric threatened the child that he should not tell this anyone.
The child further said that a week after August 15, the cleric again sexually assaulted him.
After a few days, the child went to his home from the madrasa. On 7 October 2022, his mother again came to drop him in the madrasa, but on 11 October the child ran back to his home and told the whole story.
A complaint has been given to the Delhi Commission for Women. Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson Swati Maliwal said that we have received a complaint regarding this. This is a very serious matter.
In this regard, a notice has been issued to the police by the commission. Along with this, by October 17, a copy of the FIR in this case, information about the arrest of the accused and a full report of the action taken in the case have been asked to be given.
Giving information, Delhi Police said that the accused Maulana Mohammad Javed is a resident of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. He was attracted to a boy for a long time.
The accused also has a 1-year-old daughter. Maulana has been arrested by Delhi Police. Police say that the accused has confessed his crime.
Delhi Police has registered a case against Maulana Mohammad Javed under sections 377 and POCSO at Karawal Nagar police station.
