Liquor Bottles Allowed in Delhi Metro: Delhi Metro, an integral part of the city's transportation system for the past two decades, has emerged as a lifeline for its residents, providing unparalleled convenience.

Recognizing the evolving needs of its passengers, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has made a notable announcement.

Passengers travelling on the metro trains are now permitted to carry two bottles of alcohol. There is also a minor stipulation that the spirits bottles must be sealed. It is important to note that the consumption of alcohol within the metro premises remains strictly prohibited.

After Airport Express Line, Now Permission to Carry Liquor Bottles on Other Routes Too

Two sealed bottles of alcohol are allowed to be carried on the Delhi Metro at the same restrictions as the Airport Express Line, according to the order that has been amended by a committee made up of CISF and DMRC officials.

Additionally, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation made it clear that passengers would need to behave properly when travelling and warned legal action against passengers who were observed acting indecently while under the influence of alcohol.

DMRC did not specify the date of the review meeting or the time it would be put into effect. If the modified policy is already in place, more clarifications were awaited.

According to officials, police will soon be stationed inside Metro carriages, both in uniform and in casual Uniform.
