On Saturday morning, two terrorists were killed in an encounter between security personnel and militants in Srinagar's Zakura neighborhood. Terrorists from Lashkar-e-Taiba and TRF were among that slain. During the search, the authorities discovered two firearms as well as a large amount of incriminating evidence. Ikhlaq Hajam, one of the murdered terrorists, has been identified. He was also involved in the assassination of HC Ali Mohammad in Hasanpora, Anantnag.

"No substantial public property has been damaged during these instances," claimed the Minister of State for the Interior. The loss of personal property, on the other hand, is estimated to be over Rs 5.3 crore. Apart from that, the Minister of State for Home told Rajya Sabha that 42 terrorist organizations in the country are classified in the First Schedule of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
On the same day, a Lashkar terrorist was apprehended in the Bandipora district of North Kashmir by the police and army. Weapons and ammo were also discovered in the terrorist's possession. The arrest was conducted in the Bandipora neighborhood of Chandergir Hajin. During preliminary interrogation, he identified himself as Shabbir Ahmed Dar, according to the police.
