Heavy monsoon rains have wreaked havoc across the country, causing distress and loss of life and property.
It is raining continuously in Karnataka as well and in the meantime, a shocking incident has come to the fore. A young man slipped and fell in the water of Arasinagundi waterfall in Udupi city of Karnataka.
The incident was captured on camera by one of the victim's friends who was recording a reel for Instagram at that moment.
While filming, the young man's foot slipped, leading to the unfortunate accident. Despite efforts to save him, the strong current of the river carried him away. The incident occurred on July 23rd.
The authorities launched a search operation, but sadly, they have not been able to locate him so far.
