The suspense over the new Chief Minister in Rajasthan has come to an end. Bhajan Lal Sharma, elected as the MLA from the Sanganer constituency, will be the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

After the legislative assembly meeting, the central observers who came from Delhi finalized the name of Bhajan Lal Sharma.

Hailing from Bharatpur, Bhajan Lal Sharma has been actively involved in the organization for a long time. He has served as the Pradesh Mahamantri (State General Secretary) for a considerable period.

He contested elections for the first time from the secure seat of Sanganer in Jaipur and became the Chief Minister in his first attempt.

He was fielded against the present MLA Ashok Lahoti. Bhajan Lal Sharma, associated with RSS and ABVP, has become an MLA for the first time and has served as the Pradesh Mahamantri four times.

MLA from Sanganer Constituency

Bhajan Lal Sharma has secured victory from the Sanganer constituency, a stronghold of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Recognizing his significant role in the organization, he has been entrusted with the major responsibility of the Chief Minister's position.

Decision Reached in Meeting with Observers

The BJP high command had appointed Central Minister Rajnath Singh, Vinod Tawde, and Saroj Pandey as observers for Rajasthan. The three leaders arrived in Jaipur this afternoon for a meeting with legislators.

Earlier in the day, Rajnath Singh had a one-on-one meeting with Vasundhara Raje. Meanwhile, BJP National President JP Nadda also had a telephonic conversation with Rajnath Singh.

It is noteworthy that after winning the battle in Rajasthan, the biggest challenge before the BJP was the selection of the Chief Minister. However, the race for the CM's post has now come to a halt.

Many names were in contention for this role. At the top of the list was Vasundhara Raje, who had previously led Rajasthan.

Additionally, there was a discussion about Baba Balaknath, who became the poster boy for Hindutva in Rajasthan.

Other names in the race included Gajendra Shekhawat, CP Joshi, Diya Kumari, and Rajvardhan Rathore.
