Rajasthan Election 2023: In the upcoming assembly elections in five states, the discussion about candidates is intensifying among ruling and opposition parties. Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh are in the spotlight within the BJP.

Rajasthan BJP is expected to release its first list of candidates today, possibly with 65 names finalized after a central election committee meeting.

Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh discussed 69 candidates' names during the central election committee meeting and is likely to release the list for these seats in 2-3 days.

BJP May Release First List of Candidates Today

According to sources, the BJP has prepared its first list for the Rajasthan assembly elections. The first list of candidates for may be announced at any time today.

PM Narendra Modi and JP Nadda led a meeting for over two hours with leaders to finalize 55 names for the first list.

IIf we talk about Chhattisgarh, discussions were held regarding 69 assembly seats during the central election committee meeting.

The first list of 21 candidates has already been released, and the second list for the remaining 69 candidates is expected soon.

These Union Ministers and MPs May Get Tickets

There is also speculation that the Bharatiya Janata Party may field some MPs and Central Ministers from Rajasthan in this assembly election. MPs like Baba Balak Nath from Alwar, Diya Kumari from Rajsamand, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore from Jaipur Rural, CP Joshi from Chittorgarh, and Rahul Kaswan from Churu could be fielded.

However, Vasundhara Raje is not in favour of having Central Ministers and MPs contest the assembly elections.

Let us tell you that in the upcoming meeting of the Central Election Committee, the names of a single candidate for 50 seats of Rajasthan have been decided. There are 15 such seats where there are two to three strong candidates for one seat and churning is going on.
