Rajasthan Election 2023: Sachin Pilot submitted his nomination for the assembly election from the Tonk constituency and declared that he and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot no longer hold differing opinions. Their shared objective is to secure a significant victory for the Congress.

Rajasthan Election 2023: On Tuesday, Congress leader Sachin Pilot filed his assembly election nomination from the Tonk constituency.

Before taking out his roadshow in Tonk, Sachin Pilot offered prayers at Sri Manshapurn Bhuteshwar Mahadev temple.

The roadshow was supported by thousands of his supporters and senior Congress leader Raghu Sharma.

"Forgive and Forget the Past": Sachin Pilot

After filing the nominations, the Congress leader gave the ax to the past political problems between him and Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and said that there are no differences between them and they will work unified.

There exist no differences between Ashok Gehlot and me. We are working in coordination and we have the support of Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge.

On his dispute with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Pilot said, “I have been told by Rahulji and Khargeji to forgive everyone and move on. We have no differences of opinion, no factions, and no differences.

The Congress leader seeped confidence in gaining a victory in the Rajasthan assembly elections and said that the environment in the state is in the favour of the Congress.

Voting for 200-Member Assembly will be Held on 25 November

Sachin Pilot expressed his confidence that in the forthcoming assembly elections, the Congress will establish a strong government. Their united goal is to ensure a decisive victory for the party.

Pilot has also submitted an affidavit while filing the election nomination which noted that he and his wife have been separated.

In the affidavit granted by Sachin Pilot after filing his nomination as Congress candidate from the Tonk seat, the word 'Divorced' is written in front of his wife's name.

The voting for the 200-member assembly will be held on 25 November and the counting of the votes will take place on December 3.
